When attorneys think of “marketing” their law practice – something like this usually comes to mind:

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if attorney marketing didn’t HAVE to be like a Brawndo commercial?

If you suspect that Brawndo type marketing and advertising is the WORST thing you can do for your practice – you’re right.

If you suspected that this type of advertising cheapens what you do – you’re right – it does.

So while this kind of marketing tactic works really well for say – a car dealership – it’s a lousy way for an attorney to build the authority and respect needed to create a thriving legal practice.

So what kind of marketing works well for attorneys?  F or starters – attorneys need to find a way to sell their legal expertise without resorting to Brawndo type selling.

Previously, this was done by relying upon the attorney’s favorite marketing tool – the yellow page directory.  However, the internet is quickly changing how people get information – making the traditional yellow page directory obsolete.
