Attorney Marketing & Advertising was founded by Kathy Hendershot-Hurd - an early web pioneer with a background in advertising – from agency work to media sales – which continues to give her a unique perspective on how the web works as a marketing tool.
Kathy founded her virtual web agency – Virtual Impax – in 1997 and has helped literallyhundredsof business owners create powerful online marketing tools. Her favorite clients are what she calls “knowledge professionals”. Knowledge professionals are people who have chosen to make a career out of “selling” their experience and expertise to others. In Kathy’s opinion – these professionals are exactly the ones who need to be harnessing the power of social media marketing to grow and build their business.
Attorney Marketing & Advertising was born when one of Kathy’s clients – a dynamic speaker and experienced training professional – hired Virtual Impax to craft and hone a social media marketing strategy for the client’s business of working with divorced women. While Kathy had worked with a few attorney clients in the early days of her web practice – the legal profession came into clear view as she helped her consulting/coaching client create strategic alliances with attorneys.
Those conversations made it painfully clear that while the web can be the perfect place for any attorney to begin building authority- many were still relying upon the old fashioned obsolete phone book directory advertising as their primary “marketing tool”.
